19. Breastfeeding Courses and Affiliate Licensing

19.1 Affiliate Agreement with BirthWorld
All breastfeeding-related courses offered under Antenatal Training International (ATI) are conducted under an affiliate licence agreement with BirthWorld CIC. While ATI provides a broad range of perinatal education, all standalone breastfeeding courses are formally delivered under BirthWorld CIC.

19.2 Payment Processing and Financial Transactions

  • All standalone breastfeeding courses are exclusively operated by BirthWorld CIC, and payments should be made directly to BirthWorld CIC wherever possible.
  • In cases where breastfeeding courses are integrated into ATI diplomas or bundled with other ATI training, ATI may process payments on behalf of BirthWorld CIC.
  • ATI acts solely as a disclosed agent for BirthWorld CIC when processing payments for standalone breastfeeding courses and any integrated modules within ATI diplomas. Funds collected by ATI for Birthworld CIC are held in trust and not part of ATI’s taxable turnover.

19.3 Course Delivery and Administration

  • Standalone breastfeeding courses are delivered, administered, and managed entirely by BirthWorld CIC, with ATI students being redirected to BirthWorld CIC for these courses.
  • ATI students enrolled in diplomas that contain breastfeeding modules will access those modules via ATI’s learning platform, but the course content, certification, and assessment will still follow BirthWorld CIC’s policies.
  • Any support, certification queries, or assessment issues related to breastfeeding courses must be directed to BirthWorld CIC.

19.4 Legal and Contractual Responsibility
By enrolling in an ATI-affiliated breastfeeding course, students acknowledge that:

  • ATI is not legally responsible for the standalone breastfeeding courses delivered by BirthWorld CIC.
  • Any disputes, complaints, or refund requests for standalone breastfeeding courses must be handled by BirthWorld CIC, except where ATI has directly processed payment as part of a bundled course.
  • ATI does not provide warranties or guarantees regarding the breastfeeding courses beyond what is explicitly outlined by BirthWorld CIC.

19.5 VAT and Compliance with UK Law

  • ATI acts solely as a payment processor for BirthWorld CIC when collecting payments for integrated courses and does not assume ownership of the transaction.
  • All revenue from breastfeeding courses belongs to BirthWorld CIC, ensuring ATI does not account for these payments in its VAT turnover.
  • This arrangement is intended to comply with UK VAT regulations, with ATI acting strictly as a payment collection agent and not as a principal in the supply of breastfeeding courses. Funds collected on behalf of BirthWorld CIC are held in trust and transferred directly, ensuring ATI assumes no ownership or financial benefit from these transactions beyond standard administrative processing fees, if applicable.
